A songwriter with an over 500 song catalog in multiple genres, Jules holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Composition from UCLA. She studied with notable lyricists and songwriters such as:

- Film composer - David Raksin ("Laura", "The Bad & The Beautiful", "Forever Amber", etc.),

- Lyricist/songwriter Jack Segal ("Scarlet Ribbons", "When Sunny Gets Blue", etc),

- Songwriter Buddy Kaye ("Somewhere Down The Road", several songs for Sinatra, Dusty Springfield and more), and

- Dick Grove's Music Workshop in Hollywood, CA (Jazz Ear Training).

Recently, Jules has studied digital audio production with renowned composer, instructor and musician Christy Coobatis at MiraCosta College in Oceanside, CA.  Even though an audio engineering newbie, Jules continues to write words, music, sing, play and mix her demos.

Jules has begun producing and mixing her own material as she seeks new opportunities for exposure.  In the past, Jules has written for Barney the Dinosaur, a student short, and a song for a movie-made-for-cable show that never made it to broadcast.

New songs will be added to her website, so be sure to check back!

Contact Jules for any song requests, writing assignments or special holiday events via her email.  Serious inquiries will receive a response.
